We understand this could be the single biggest purchase you make in your lifetime and you will naturally have lots of questions about the process.
We hope the below frequently asked questions help our customers understand the process of purchasing a new home with Rockwill Homes.
All sales enquiries are dealt via our sales agent Michael Poole’s of Yarm. You can contact them on 01642 788878 or visit there office on Yarm High Street between the hours of 9-5pm Monday to Friday or 9.30am-12.30pm Saturday.
We will go through important information with you to ensure you are fully aware of every aspect of the purchasing process, once you are happy we will present you with a reservation form.
We will the take the relevant reservation fee, once this is received dually with the signed reservation paperwork, your desired plot will be marked as SOLD. We will not take more than one reservation fee for any one property giving you peace of mind that your new property is secured. You will need to bring two different forms of ID with you to confirm your identity, such as your passport and driving licence, in order to reserve a new home with us.
Rockwill Homes require a fully non-refundable 5% deposit to reserve a plot.
Rockwill Homes allow alterations to each property to tailor the home to you. Along with taking the property off the market, this is the reason we do not offer refunds once a reservation form is completed.
This is what sets us apart from the rest! Dependant on build stage we offer our customers the opportunity to choose from a wide array of fixtures and fittings. We understand that no two people have the exact same way of living, with that in mind we try our very best to adapt each home to that of the customer purchasing it.
We offer a wide range of options however we do offer an extremely high specification as standard.
Specification and possible upgrade options can be discussed from the outset to allow you to fully understand what we can offer to help you make an informed decision.
If you would like to visit your new home during construction, we will do our best to make this possible, we understand it’s an exciting time! All site visits must be pre-arranged to ensure your safety on site. The health and safety of our visitors is paramount for us which is why you must always be accompanied on site.
At Rockwill Homes your satisfaction is of upmost importance to us. We pride ourself on giving excellent and prompt after sales service, we arrange for our site manager to carry out two home visits one on day 7 and one on day 28. During these visits any queries can be answered or should there be anything that needs rectifying we will ensure a quick and effective service in doing so.
Each property is then insured for a total of a ten-year period for any structural defects. Rockwill Homes is proud to announce that in our 10 years of trading we have not had any structural defect claims on any of our new build properties giving our customers peace of mind that quality is achieved first time every time.
